Head of a research group at R&D Division of SIRTI (Milano)


with the responsibility of design and development of fiber optic passive components (fusion couplers, optical attenuators, optical isolators) and fiber optic amplifiers for the third telecommunications (TLC) window.


I studied, developed the technology (realization, testing and packaging) and put on production the first Italian fusion multimode, singlemode and WDM fiber optic couplers.

Researches on: fiber optic sensors (magneto-optical, Gyros,..); optical passive components (all-fiber isolator, fiber couplers, WDMs); fiber optic sensors for space applications (ESA project); pre-amplifier circuits for high frequency photodiodes.
